Neck Pain
Neck pain is a very common complaint seen by our physiotherapists. It is most often caused by prolonged postures, reduced physical activity, poor sleep and stress. Sustained forward head positions whilst sitting at a desk is often identified as being a source of tight muscles causing neck pain and related headaches. Neck pain may also be caused by trauma such as whiplash from a car accident or sporting injuries.
Signs and symptoms that may be related to conditions arising from the neck:
- Pain in the neck or shoulder
- Pain radiating down the arm
- Pins and needles
- Headaches
- Migraines
- Dizziness
- Stiffness in the neck

They will provide you with a tailored treatment program including hands-on manual therapy, a specific exercise program and appropriate education and advice to help reduce the likelihood of your neck pain reoccurring.
